Your soil, plants and garden want to thrive.

What is Garden Coaching?

Tell me where you are and I will meet you there.

Garden Coaches listen to your ideas, dreams and goals. You share your journey, skills and challenges, and identify areas you want to grow in. This consultation is comprehensive and will give you the tools you need to begin with confidence to grow the garden you desire. We provide education, advice and support to our clients. We teach you how to achieve your goals in your space given the parameters in place. We never shame anyone for loving what they love, or wanting a special plant (or plants) in their garden. We are not purists here. We are educators and soil evangelists with only a few hard and fast rules we will teach you that all ecologists in this movement live by.

We offer:

kitchen garden designs

salad, herb, children’s gardens

native landscape design

one on one garden coaching sessions

community classes

Expect a minimum of 10-15 hours of my time for your project, for the very smallest garden project.

Share the message so it may grow

We have the great privilege of partnering with several non-profit organizations to spread the message about pollinator education in our community here in Pittsburgh, PA. We also champion the ecological movement to help restore ecosystems and native habitats by shouting out vendors of choice who walk the walk.

Our founder/owner, Miriam Cheng, donates a percentage of our profits from all classes and native landscape installations to these efforts, plus time and classes to the community.

You can too! Look at these organizations, donate your time and energy, and share the message!
